He even admired his wifey’s first Cannes red carpet appearance by saying that it gave him a sleepless night! He flew out to Cannes to join his wife and daughter Aaradhya. Abhi accompanied his former beauty queen wife for the Indian am FAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) gala dinner which was held at Cannes yesterday.
He cited busy work schedule as the reason behind not accompanying his wife to the Cannes Film Festival before but we suspected that there might have been some truth in the rumours of their divorce. But the Bol Bachchan actor left no stone unturned to prove the rumours wrong and showered love on Ash via Twitter.
Later yesterday evening Amitabh Bachchan’s beta tweeted, “No matter how tired you are, seeing the family and holding them in your arms is the greatest cure for any fatigue!”
Perhaps the rumours about this happy couple’s separation are false and we hope that the most-loved Bollywood jodi doesn’t go the Hrithik Roshan-Sussanne way. We eagerly await Abhi-Ash’s red carpet appearance.
