Three persons, who have tried to kidnap music director Harris Jayaraj for ransom, were arrested by police in Tamil Nadu.
Harris Jayaraj's wife Suma had received a call to her mobile phone on Sunday (11.05.14), demanding 20 lakhs, failing which her husband and children will be kidnapped.
She ignored it assuming it to be a prank call. But she lodged a complaint to the police, as she got another call from the same persons on Monday morning. The police traced the call and held three persons named Thirumalai, Arunachalapandiyan and Muthu Krishnan, out of whom Thirumalai was Harris Jayaraj's car driver
