'Will Stop Telecast of TV9, ABN in Telangana'

Telangana State MSO president Subash Reddy  stated that the "telecast of TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothi channels in Telangana will be halted." Subhash said that it would come into force from Sunday 5 PM.

This is the reaction following the flak from a section of Telangana political leaders against TV9 for airing programme (Bullet News) that intend to "demean" Members of Legislative House. It came into limelight when Chief Minister KCR raised the topic in the Assembly. He also alleged that ABN Andhra Jyothi is "deliberately showcasing Telangana Government in poor light". KCR vowed to take stern action against these two channels in the House. The members of Telangana Legislative Assembly, Council has handed over the issue to Speaker and Council Chairman to take further action against two channels. While the matter is pending, MSO president Subhas Reddy stated to stop the telecast of two popular news channels in the State. Is this a good trend to act personally against media?

 Already, TV9 has tendered its apology on the issue. There is mixed reaction coming on the move by MSOs. Many social activists have condemned the "threatening" move by MSOs on public domains like Facebook, Twitter. They said imposing punishment for the responsible people is fine but totally stopping the telecast is not laudable, wrote an activist. Let's see how far the issue goes

Telugu actress Lakshmi Prasanna Manchu welcomes daughter via surrogacy

Telugu actress-producer Lakshmi Manchu has welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy. “It’s one of the best moments of my life,” tweeted her father and actor Manchu Mohan Babu. Lakshmi, her husband Andy Srinivasan and the entire Manchu family are extremely delighted with the news



“God has been kind. @LakshmiManchu my darling daughter has been blessed with a baby girl through surrogacy. One of the best moments of my life (sic),” posted Mohan Babu on his Twitter page on Sunday. Lakshmi has starred in Telugu films such as “Gundello Godaria, “Doosukeltha” and “Chandamama Kathalu”, while as a producer she’s known for making “Nenu Meeku Telusa” and “Jhummandi Naadam”.

Aashiqui 2 Telugu remake seems to be only a shadow of the original! : Nee Jathaga Nenundali trailer

The trailer of  Sachiin Joshi-Nazia Hussain starrer Nee Jathaga Nenundali is out, but alas it looks below par when compared to the original
Aashiqui 2 was probably one of the biggest hits of 2013 in Bollywood. When the news broke that this musical love story was going to be remade in Telugu as Nee Jathaga Nenundali, it got the entire Tollywood buzzing.  Sachiin Joshi and Nazia Hussain are reprising the roles of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the Telugu remake.

The trailer of Nee Jathaga Nenundali is out and comparisons with the original are going to be inevitable.  Directed by Jaya Ravindraa, Nee Jathga Nenundali tells the love story of a famous singer with an upcoming vocalist. The male lead of the film,Sachiin Joshi launched the trailer of the film in Hyderabad.

We bring you four reasons why we did not like Nee Jathaga Nenundali trailer :

1. The makers of the Telugu remake have stuck to the music of Aashiqui 2, may be because the music album was such a chartbuster. But to those who have heard Aashiqui 2 songs are bound to find it weird to hear the same tunes with Telugu lyrics.

2. The chemistry between the lead pair Sachiin Joshi and Nazia Hussain fails to make an impact. Though the duo try hard to kindle some romance but it fizzles.

3. Sachiin Joshi’s portrayal of the alcohol addict singer ,who falls for a girl with beautiful voice, seems uneven and inconsistent in the trailer. The Jackpot actor lacks to charm as the successful singer and plays his part with little confidence.

4.   Lastly, Nee Jathaga Nenundali looks, feels and sounds like a Aashiqui 2 wannabe. Even the shots displayed in the trailer look like a photocopy of Aashiqui 2, a rather sub standard photocopy.  The makers seem to have made no effort to differentiate the remake from the original.

The only good thing about the trailer is Nazia Hussain, who looks cute and innocent and seems to be a good choice for the heroine stepping into Shraddha Kapoor’s shoes. In short, Nee Jathaga Nenundali may raise interest in those who had not seen or heard the original. But for the rest, it would seem like only a shadow of the original film. The trailer turned out to be a huge disappointment. We hope the film proves us wrong.

Reason behind Suicide of Telugu actor Kalyan Chakravarthy

Telugu TV Serial actor Kalyan Chakravarthi allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday early morning in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district.A bachelor, Kalyan earned his bread and butter through acting. He has worked in various TV serials and has done cameos in about four movies.

At present, he has no roles for the serials in hand. On the other hand, he is reported to be in huge debts. Financial crisis is reported to be the reason for his suicide.
Police are investigating personal motives which led him to commit suicide As per reports, personal financial crises led to the suicide.His mother, retired Mandal Revenue Officer in Bhimavaram town,  died two years ago.

Rahman denies Vandalism rumour on his studio

Recently rumours came in that A R Rahman’s studio in LA was attacked and the studio incurred some damage in this process. Rahman, however, quashed this off saying nothing serious has happened.

A fan asked Rahman, “I heard that your studio in LA was vandalized yesterday, I hope everyone is okay, and the damage is just to property. Please be safe. ” To which ARR replied that, “Oh thank you. Manam song Kanulanu thaake making : Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have a blast!

After the rip roaring success of Gautham Menon’s Ye Maaya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have been paired up yet again in late ANR’s Manam. The duo seem to be replicating that amazing onscreen chemistry in the song Kanulanu thaake in Manam, which made Ye Maaya Chesave a big hit.
The making video of Kanulanu thaake shows Naga Chaitanya courting Samantha, the stars seem to be playing the role of husband and wife in the song. Sung by the mesmerizing Arjit Singh, the Anoop Rubens composition is a playful,peppy romantic number. The actors seem to be having a blast on the sets of the song, looking as realistic and lovely as real life couple could be.

The song also gives a glimpse of the actor Lavanya Tripathi, who is supposed to be playing a cameo in Manam. The excited actor tweeted the following “ Hellooo! Yes I have done a cameo in Manam Vikram sir asked me to do it , so of course I said yes J had a wonderful experience with the team.”

The film also stars ANR,Nagarjuna and Shriya Saran. Manam, which is ANR’s last film, is in the limelight for all the right reasons. The Chini chini song making video which was released last week featuring Nagarjuna and Shriya Saran got a thumbs up from the public. With the trailer and songs doing well, Manam has definitely set high expectations among the movie buffs.
